Guided Tour - March 1-16,

14 Ride Days

2015 gets off to an early start with the Daytona Bike Week tour. Just like our Sturgis Tour, this is Bike Week and much more!

We'll make the most of the mild weather in the south with a path that begins in New Orleans and takes us throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama and Florida. Experience Southern Hospitality at it's finest, enjoy some wonderful food and be immersed in southern culture up-close-and-personal as we explore the scenic back roads of the deep south. Our journey includes a stay in Key West and three nights at Daytona Bike Week.

We begin by riding the Bayou Country up the the Big Muddy - the Mississippi River - to Natchez, Mississippi. The Natchez Trace Parkway carries us north through exceptional scenery and 10,000 years of North American history.

natchezbridgeUsed by American Indians, "Kaintucks," settlers, and future presidents, the Old Trace played an important role in American history. Today the Natchez Trace provides a near-continuous greenway from the the bluffs of the lower Mississippi River to the southern Appalachian foothills of Tennessee. Designated as a National Scenic Byway and All-American Road, parkway travelers experience historic and scenic landscapes, made even more enjoyable on two wheels..

We'll get to Memphis early enough for all the Elvis lovers to make their pilgrimmage to Graceland and enjoy some Blues on Beale Street and Memphis Barbeque before departing the next day for Birmingham, Alabama, home of the world-famous Barber Motorsports Park and Museum.

Our route takes us south through Alabama and down the west coast of Florida, with a

detour into the central lakes region for variety. We'll be in citrus country for the orange harvest. Over 50% of Florida's orange crop is picked between March and June.

"Alligator Alley" crosses the state of Florida from west to east and we'll follow it all the way. Arches National Park

We'll visit Everglades National Park and get a closer look at the wildlife by airboat. From there, it's one long - and very unusual - road to Key West for a look at the southernmost point of the US and the festivities that come with the daily Sunset Celebration at Mallory Square in Key West. Duvall Street, home of Sloppy Joe's, Hog's Breath and other fine establishments are but a few steps away.

item1From there it's back north to Daytona for three nights at Bike Week. Sturgis and Daytona both claim to be the largest gathering of motorcycles on earth - come see for yourself!

Plan your flight home for anytime on March 17 or extend your time in Orlando for as long as you'd like to stay.
